Barry Gordon Campbell

Barry Gordon Campbell, born September 13, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Oscar and Eva (Stone) Campbell, passed away June 10, 2026, surrounded by his family. A graduate of Butler University with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Barry built a steady career at General Motors Corporation as the Chemical Analysis Supervisor and was a member of the American Chemical Society. He lived a life defined by devotion to family, friends, and simple joys.

Barry’s passions in his personal life included card games, travel, water skiing, and – later in life – sharing puns and jokes.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; his son, Terry; and his brother, Ron. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Miriam; son, Larry (Joyce); daughters, Sherie (David) and Jerri; and by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Visitation for Barry will be Tuesday, June 16 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.  Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 PM.  Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood, Indiana.
