For 22 dedicated years, Patricia worked for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1992 after a career marked by commitment and steadfast service. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was a faithful member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, where her faith was a guiding light, nurturing her spirit and those around her.

Patricia’s passions were reflections of her warm and devoted nature. She found joy in the intricate art of crocheting, crafting beautiful creations that echoed the love she carried within. Family travels were a treasured pastime, moments she delighted in sharing with those she loved dearly. Above all, she was deeply devoted to her beloved dog, Dollie, who brought comfort and companionship into her daily life.

Patricia’s marriage to her husband Earl was a testament to lasting love, spanning 53 blessed years until his passing. Their bond was the foundation upon which a loving family was built, and Patricia’s legacy will continue through their children: Kelly (Garry) Ritter, Annette (Douglas) Means, Richard (Maria) Riggin, Rebecca (Jeffrey) Wycoff, and Michael Riggin. She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren who will carry forward her spirit and stories.

She is survived by her sisters Margie Forsyth and Hazel Bowden, and sister-in-law Rosie Allen, who stood as pillars of strength and kinship throughout her life. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Earl Riggin, her parents George and Clara (Norris) Allen, and her brother Donald Allen.
