Rozann Gocke

Our beautiful mother, Rozann Gocke, aged 86, left this world on September 3, 2026. Born on August 21, 1940, in Indianapolis to Louis and Alma (Thomas) Gocke, Rozann lived a life filled with love and joy.

Rozann was raised in Indianapolis and graduated from Manual High School.

Rozann lived most of her adult life in Orange County California area.  Returning back to Indiana to be closer to her children.

Her heart was captivated by the tunes of Phil Shane, especially when he channeled the spirit of Elvis, and she had an enduring affection for musicals, with “The Sound of Music” holding a special place in her soul.

Rozann’s life was deeply enriched by her family. She lovingly raised nine children, sharing with them fond moments on journeys where their favorite question, “Where are we going?” was met with her playful reply, “Crazy.”

She is survived by her beloved children: Christina (Douglas) LaRoche, John Munn, Linda (Dion) Chapman, Michael (Tamara) Munn, Rhonda (Johnny) Leardi, David Munn, Dean (Ellen) Munn, Steven (Tish) Munn, and Kathleen (Jim Phillipp) Seyfried. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Rene (Dino) Gomez,  Bobbileah Hunsicker, Cody Bryant, Patrick LaRoche, Bridget (Tanner)  Wright, Olivia LaRoche, Brittany Munn, Christopher Munn, Jennifer Edwards, Teddy Munn, Madison Frey, Ashley Gwin, Katie Voltz , Shaun Voltz, Lauren Peterson and Asia (Eric) Manteau,  Tyler (Katie) Munn, Justene (Stefen) Grigoriou, Mallorie Munn and her 29 great-grandchildren. Rozann is also lovingly remembered by her  grandson, Daniel Duclos, brothers, Bill (Anna) Gocke and John (Rosie) Gocke.

Rozann’s family will celebrate her life with a visitation on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. Her funeral will be Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Garden.
