Angela T. Forni

April 5, 1934 ~ December 9, 2022
Angela T. Forni, 88, of Fishers and previously, Indianapolis, peacefully passed away while surrounded by her family on December 9, 2022. Angela was born on April 5, 1934, in Indianapolis to the late Joseph and Margaret (Genco) Morone. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in the class of 1952. On September 11, 1954, Angela wed the late Ralph L. Forni; Ralph preceded Angela in death in 1999.
Raising her five children and being a devoted wife was a lifelong career for Angela. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and was a longtime parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church. When she was in better health, Angela delivered for Meals on Wheels and volunteered at IU Health Hospital.
A great card player, Angela was a member of many Bridge clubs and loved to play a good game of Euchre. Angela was incredibly active and loved walking on her treadmill. A talented baker, Angela made the best Italian cookies and fruitcakes. She enjoyed traveling to numerous locations, but her favorite destinations include New York City, Ireland, and Italy. With a sharp wit and a great sense of humor, Angela could make anyone laugh. Ultimately Angela was at her happiest when surrounded by her children; she was the most caring and loving mother. She will be incredibly missed.
Along with her parents and husband, Angela was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Nino Morone, and her sister, Mary Frances Meyers.
Survivors include her children, Marie (William) Glaspie, Jane Forni (Husband, Mark Hulett), Tom (Joyce) Forni, Beth (Frank) Chalupa, and David Forni; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 grand dogs; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Angie was a great friend to my mother Jo Ellen Forestal. Her name was brings up fond memories throughout my entire life. She will be missed. I am sorry for your loss
Thank you very much, Rose. Mom continued to talk with us about how much she loved your mom, she was a beautiful, special lady. I’m so glad we got to spend time with her when she came to visit Mom.
Aunt Angela was such a great Aunt. Full of love and always smiling. I always enjoyed visiting the Forni family. Aunt Angela was a devoted Mother and that was evident in the wonderful children that she; along with the help of Uncle Ralph raised. Her obit highlighted that she made the best Italian cookies. So very true! My family and I will miss her and will continue to pray for her. God bless.
We’ll always remember Auntie as a gentle soul and a beautiful woman. She’ll be greatly missed.

I know you probably don’t remember me, but I babysat for all of you when you lived on East St.. I vividly remember once when my friend and I babysat and tried to pop corn on the stove. It started popping and we couldn’t find the lid to the skillet. We had popcorn shooting all over the kitchen. Funny the things that one remembers. Your Mom was such a kind woman. I have fond memories of her and your whole family. My sister and I went bowling with her and Sue Palmer (your next door neighbor) a few times and they would take us to Steak and Shake afterwards. We thought that was special since we were only teenagers. Know of my prayers for all of you.
We extend our deepest sympathies on behalf of the Humane Society for Hamilton County. Our thoughts and prayers are with Angela’s family during this devastating time.
Your mom was a wonderful & dear friend of my mother, Mary Ann Groll, who considered Angie a cherished childhood friend. They loved each other very much. Our parents took several trips together and had great memories. My mom is currently in a nursing home, and doesn’t know that Angie is no longer here. Sending our condolences to all of the Forni family.
