Anna Kathryn Breen, a beloved member of the Indianapolis community, passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on September 3, 1942, in Indianapolis, Anna was a woman of remarkable spirit and unwavering dedication to her family and career.

Anna’s professional journey began with a business degree obtained from Ivy Tech, which paved the way for a fruitful and fulfilling career. She spent an impressive 35 years with RCA, where she contributed her talents in the office, followed by 8 years with the Criterion. She embraced her retirement in 2016, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment that inspired those around her.

Beyond her professional achievements, Anna was a woman of diverse interests and infectious enthusiasm. She found joy in working puzzles, which not only tested her intellect but also provided her with countless hours of amusement. An avid TV watcher, Anna cherished the stories and characters that filled her screen, and her zest for life.
A devout member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Anna’s faith laid a strong foundation for her life, guiding her in her relationships and instilling in her a sense of community and belonging.

Anna is survived by her loving brothers, Thomas (Brenda) Breen and Robert Breen, along with several nieces and nephews and cousins, who will remember her with warmth and love. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard Thomas and Sophie Marie (Turk) Breen, whose memory she carried with her throughout her life.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5353 McFarland Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Anna Kathryn Breen will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, joyous spirit, and unyielding love for her family and friends will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.
