Anne will remain a very special person in my life. Her kindness, gentleness and giving spirit is almost unmatched in today’s world. She and I enjoyed a very close relationship. In my dining room is an angel she gave me. In my office is a music box she gave me. And in my living room is one of her handcrafted masterpieces….a beautiful white crocheted throw. She was a very giving soul. I miss our long talks on the phone each week. Even in her later years, she enjoyed looking nice. She would tell me “Terrie and I went to the mall and I bought this cute little top. Our loss is Heaven’s gain.
Mrs. Dillane was one of the sweetest, most gracious people I have ever known. RIP
I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Dillane. I remember her as a cub scout den mother working with my mom. She always had a smile on her face, a very pleasant person to know. My sympathies to the family!
Anne was a very special person in my life. During earlier times we had long enjoyable weekly conversations by phone. Anne was multi-talented and everything she did had to be just right. She was beautiful inside and out. Even as she aged, she took great pride in her appearance. She used to say that she and Terrie went to the mall, and she found “this cute little top. She was a perfectionist and did so many things well. She was a great cook, and in a kitchen drawer she kept all her spices arranged in perfect order. I will forever miss her. And one of my cherished memories is a trip she and Terrie and I took to go to Branson to a Daniel O’Donnell performance. And there are reminders of Anne throughout my home. In the dining room, a beautiful light able angel, In the living room a meticulously crocheted whit afghan, and in my office, a music box. So there will always be memories of her wherever I go in my home. God bless and be with Terrie, Sue and other family members.
Sue and Terrie, you have my deepest sympathies. It was always so nice to see her at the Academy Women’s Mass and brunch. She was a lovely woman who raised a wonderful family. Be at peace, her name is written in heaven.
Sue and Terrie: I want to acknowledge your
gentle care of your mom through the years but especially in her last months at Franciscan Hospice House. Your love for your mom was so evident as was her love for both of you.
I felt honored to bring her Communion
for the last several months. She was such a sweet humble woman who loved her family and her Lord.
I enjoyed all her stories too. I will miss her and our visits but she’s at peace and back with Matt and
Matt, Jr & “Mattie”. My sympathy to all of the family.
Terrie
So sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I’m sure your dad was there to greet her in their heavenly home. I’m also sure Denise was also in line. She loved your mom as did everyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting her. I hope you are doing well. Be assured of my prayers for you and the family during this time. I will have a Mass for her here at Mission San Jose. God Bless
Sorry I cant come but will be thinking of my classmate and her family. So lucky to have had your mother for so long. She seems like she was a very wonderful person full of love for others.
Anna was such a dear lady, I always enjoyed her at our Ave Maria Golf meetings. Terri was such a blessing, never failing to take good care of her mom, RIP sweet lady, haven is rejoicing!
