Betty S. Ogle

Betty S. Ogle, 80, Greenwood, passed away November 29, 2021, at Community Hospital South. Betty was born April 22, 1941, in Nashville, Arkansas, to the late Everett and Marie (Smart) Jones.
Betty graduated from high school after the family moved to Michigan. A very hard working lady, she oftentimes worked three jobs to help provide for her children. She had been a member of the Moose Lodge years ago. Betty was happy anywhere and anytime she was surrounded by her family. She will be fondly remembered for her kindness, unconditional love, witty sense of humor, and her generosity.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a son, Tony Marine; great- granddaughter, Mackenzie Snapp; brother, Horace “Bo” Jones; sister, Mary Bancroft.
Survivors include her children, Tammy (Lloyd Jr.) Snapp, Mark Marine, Julie Johnson, Michele Skill, Michael Skill; grandchildren, Eddie (Amanda) Snapp, Chris Snapp, Shawna Marine, Chance Marine, and Eli Cummings; great grandchildren, Eddie IV, Cameron, Kaylee, Nathan, and Aalyssah Snapp.
Betty’s Life Celebration® Visitation will be Saturday, December 4, 2021, 12 – 2 P.M., at the O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. Visit www.ORileyFuneralHome.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
