Carol Ann Price

Carol Ann Price, born on April 8, 1943, in Beech Grove, Indiana, peacefully departed this life on January 24, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She leaves behind a legacy woven with love, creativity, and cherished memories that will persist in the hearts of all who knew her.

A dedicated baker, Carol spent a significant part of her life perfecting her craft at Southport High School and Meijer Bakery, where her talents and commitment shone brightly until her retirement in 2009. Through her work, she brought joy and comfort to many, crafting not just delicious treats, but also warm connections with those around her.

Beyond her career, Carol was a woman of many passions. She found joy in sewing and quilting, lovingly creating handmade treasures that reflected her meticulous attention to detail and warmth. An avid reader, she lost herself in the pages of countless books, indulging in stories that broadened her horizons. Her green thumb flourished in her flower and vegetable gardens, where she nurtured growth and tranquility, bringing beauty to her surroundings and nourishing her family.

Above all, Carol was deeply proud of her family, especially her grandchildren. They were the shining stars of her life, and she embraced every moment spent with them, fostering a bond filled with laughter and love. Her greatest accomplishments were not measured in accolades but in the memories created and the lives she touched through her nurturing spirit.

Carol is survived by her loving family: Jessica (Tim) Ohime and Jason (Amy) Price, sisters Judy Corpuz and Cathy Clager, and grandchildren Ellie Ohime, Natalie Ohime, Hunter Price, and Jaxson Price. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Marvin J. Price, children Jennifer Clager, Michael Price, and Carla Price, parents Harold and Helen Lettelleir Clager, brothers Harold Clager Jr., and John Clager.

Carol’s visitation will be on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church, 535 Edgewood Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

  1. I am so sorry for the loss of your Sister, Mother and Grandmother. Carol was my 1st cousin and a joy to be around. I never saw her angry and was a bright light in my life when we were able to be together. She will be missed. I wish all of you Peace at this trying time in your Lives.
