Diana Sue Haeberle, born on August 21, 1964, in Indianapolis, Indiana, left this world peacefully on January 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and compassion, defining her as a cherished sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

For several years, Diana dedicated herself professionally to the Renaissance Insurance Company, where she became a respected member of the team. However, it was her spirit of volunteerism that truly showcased her generous heart. She dedicated countless hours to Big Brothers and Big Sisters, creating rich relationships and advocating for the well-being of children in need. Her commitment to making a difference in others’ lives will not be forgotten.

Diana was an active member of St. Mark Catholic Church, a community that nourished her faith and sense of belonging. She delighted in good times spent with family and friends, whether sharing meals at their favorite restaurants, camping with others around a fire, or embarking on adventures through traveling. Music filled her life with joy, and her appreciation for it resonated deeply with those who knew her.

Left to carry her memory are her devoted husband, James Haeberle; her beloved sons, Aaron (Jenny) Haeberle and William Haeberle; her grandmotherly joy, granddaughter Octavia Haeberle; as well as her cherished siblings: Greg (Shellie Conway) Forestal, Joseph (Stephanie Eicher) Forestal, Rose (Jim) Sommers, and Mary Jo Barth. She is also remembered by many nieces and nephews, who have been touched by her nurturing spirit.

Diana is predeceased by her dear parents, Richard and JoEllen Forestal. Their love and guidance were foundational elements in her life, shaping the woman she became—a loving figure for her family whose legacy will forever remain in their hearts.

Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, located at 6107 S East St, Indianapolis, IN.
