Dolores Catherine Kuntemeier Woods, 93 of Greenwood, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023. She was born on October 15, 1929, in St. Louis Missouri.
On May 15, 1954, she married the love of her life Edward J. Woods. Together they had loving and caring adventures. She was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, where she helped give communion to hospital patients for 20 years. She played bridge in several card clubs. She attended daily mass and believed in exercise, but the most important thing in her life was her beloved family.
Dolores is preceded in death by her husband Edward J. Woods, daughter Mary Adele Woods, parents, Milton and Adele Kansteiner Kuntemeier, sisters Iris Stock, Carol Cento.
Dolores is survived by her children, Ed (Aggie) Woods, Kathy (Mike) McCullough, Kevin (Danette) Woods, Tom (Sara) Woods, sister Joan Lipski, grandchildren John (Ashley), Brian (Brandy), Daniel (Karli), Lindsey, Megan, Kevin, Katelyn, Marilyn, Thomas, Samantha, great grandchildren Caroline, Lauryn, Reid, Tatum, Paige and Wren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Dolores will be Monday, June 5, 2023, from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at O’Riley Branson Funeral Service and Crematory, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. Prayers will be said at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 8300 Rahke Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. Burial will Tuesday, June 6 at 11:00 AM (Central Time) at Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
