Gary-Lee Allen 74, of Indianapolis passed away November 22, 2021. He was born on May 2, 1947 to the late William and Rhoda Allen in Alameda, California. He earned an Associate’s Degree from Pasadena City College.
Gary served his country during the Vietnam War, and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He was a self-employed salesman specializing in flooring. Gary loved the outdoors and loved hiking in the Mountains of California.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Karen (Wright) Allen; sons William Michael (Kitte) Allen, and Justin Robert Allen; granddaughter Savannah Lee Allen; brother William (Hope) Allen, and sister Mary Pollard.
A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be held on Friday December 3, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 PM at O’Riley Funeral Home 6107 S. East St. Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
