Dear Family of Jack. So sad to hear of Jack’s passing. My husband and I enjoyed getting to know Jack and having weekly dinner with him at the Thirsty Turtle. He was witty and fun and we talked about our favorite Netflix shows. We will sure miss him but glad that he will be with his beloved wife Beth.
Jack hired me at Crawford and Company back in 1989. We had so much fun during that time! I learned a lot from him but really considered him a friend. Truly a great man who I admired. We stayed friends through the years. My heart goes out to his family. You have me deepest sympathy. Prayers and hugs to you. The world lost a great man.
We were neighbors growing up in Greendale. The Finneys lived right across the street from us….the Deans. I’m a little older than Jack. One day I asked to ride his bike that had hand brakes and could go fast. The brakes locked up on me or something and I sailed over the handlebars, flipping over them! We had such fun on Miller Avenue with lots of friends. We recently got in touch on Facebook and I am stunned at his passing. I saw his beautiful home was for sale and then sold and I sent a message hoping he could move on, little knowing what was coming. Condolences to all his family. Sounds like he was a very special man.
Sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. I worked with him for many years at Crawford and Company. We worked hard and had a lot of fun. Condolences to the family. RIP my friend

Mike, Erin, Jacquie and Tim: I spoke to several members of our Crawford & Company leadership group throughout the day today and consistently heard the words dedicated, loyal, devoted, hard working, faithful, and energetic. Jack has been and will continue to be missed by us all. I still practice many things I learned from your dad over the years and both Julie and I are extremely grateful for the doors Jack helped open for us at Crawford & Company. So sorry for your loss.
I grew up with Jack in Greendale and he was a year behind me at LCHS. He was always at the Greendale Pool and always so friendly with a smile on his face. He was on crutches due to a few operations.. He kept smiling and finally healed. They were on my paper route on Carroll Avenue and he had great parents. Greendale was just a FUN place. May he rest in eternal peace.
Jack was the best boss I ever had. He hired me at 26 and Crawford and taught me everything about the business. He was such a great father and grandpa and shared his family life stories with us all. He will be missed.
