Jim was an incredible man whose life was a testament to faith, family, love, friendship and music. His quiet strength and unwavering faith left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He was an avid sports fan and Corvette fanatic. He was a man of many talents. Outside of work, he enjoyed traveling, coaching, and playing music at St. Barnabas Church and with his band, Train Wreck. Above all, he was a devoted husband and father, whose love for his wife and children was boundless. His family was his greatest treasure, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was an incredibly proud dad to Mike and Ally and spent every minute diving head-first into all of their activities whether it be sports, academics or just being an incredible listener and adviser.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of faith, love, and music will continue to resonate in our hearts forever.

There are so many wonderful things already said about Jim in this guestbook that I know to be true. Jim and I met at work just two years ago. We both transitioned into quality roles after long careers in IT, and then we both retired at the end of 2024. Even though I only knew Jim for a short time, we connected as if we had known each other forever. We shared many common interests in faith, family, kids, work, music, Purdue sports, and hobbies. We both planned to stay in touch after retirement, and that is what I will miss the most – the potential lifelong friendship we would have shared.
To Lisa, Mike, Ally, Jim’s friends and coworkers, and the rest of the Feltz clan, my heartfelt condolences. I can’t imagine the stress and pain that you’ve endured this last year. I do know that Jim would have wanted you all to continue living your best lives, as he fully intended to do until the end of his wonderful life.
I pray that God grants you all peace and wisdom during this difficult time. I know Jim wished for that as well.
With peace and sympathy,

I am so sorry for your loss. I’ve been reflecting the past few days and I will remember the special and strong bond he had with Lisa, Mike and Ally.
