Joseph A. Carroll

Joseph A. Carroll, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Bridgewater Health Campus in Carmel. Born in Indianapolis on February 3, 1941, Joseph was the son of the late Joseph E. and Elsie (Bise) Carroll.

Joseph retired from GM Truck and Bus Group in Indpls. where he worked for 35 years.

He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anna (Pointer) Carroll; two sons, Lonnie and Wayne Carroll; and three sisters, Wanda Carroll, Betty Madden and Mildred Powers.

Survivors include his son, Brett A. Carroll of Los Angeles, CA; his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Matthew Sheets of Noblesville; and his grandson, Braydon Sheets of Noblesville.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Joseph A. Carroll from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
