Joyce Ann Reynolds

Joyce Ann Reynolds, 58, Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 25, 2024. Joyce was born in Greenfield, Indiana on April 28, 1966, to the late Paul and Mary Glen (Browning) Wallace.

Joyce graduated from Dugger Union High School in 1984 and earned a degree in nursing from Indiana University. She was a registered nurse for Methodist Hospital for many years and was most recently employed at IU–West Hospital. Often described as the life of the party, Joyce was well known for her smile, laughter, and love of 80’s and 90’s hard rock. Her favorite artist was Bon Jovi who was so much a favorite that Joyce even named her beloved dog Jovi.

Joyce was strongly devoted to her family. One of seven children, she and her four sisters vacationed together, often to Florida, and even planned their outfits to be perfectly themed for wedding receptions and parties. Joyce loved her newer role in life as a grandma and delighted in creating memories with her three grandchildren. Joyce will be remembered for her kindness, great listening skills, and loyalty to her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Dale Wallace.

Survivors include her three children, Jackson (Julie) Reynolds, Jared Reynolds, and Madison Reynolds; siblings, Terry (Peggy) Wallace, Pam (Rodney) Axe, Nina (John) Zapf, Donna (Wayne) Goodman, and Paulette Bailey; three grandchildren, Issac Reynolds, Abigail Reynolds, and Savannah Reynolds.

Joyce’s Life Celebration® services will be held at the O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis.
