  5. “Tis a Fearful Thing.

    ‘Tis a fearful thing
to love what death can touch.

    A fearful thing
to love, to hope, to dream, to be –

    to be,
    And oh, to lose.

    A thing for fools, this,

    And a holy thing,

    a holy thing
    to love.

For your life has lived in me,
    your laugh once lifted me,
your word was gift to me.

To remember this brings painful joy.

    ‘Tis a human thing, love,
    a holy thing, to love
    what death has touched.”

  6. To the family of Kevin. I met Kevin last year after calling his store and talking with him. A couple of minutes into that conversation I told Kevin that I needed to look no further to find a really great coin shop for anything from numismatic to bullion. I couldn’t wait to visit Kevin’s store, The Coin Hunt. I like anything nautical or US Navy and Kevin would call or text me with a kind note and pictures of whatever he found for me. Kevin is one of the kindness and caring people I’ve known in quite some time. Early last week, I had a couple of questions and wanted Kevin’s expertise on certain products. Since early last week, I’ve made a handful of calls, one or two emails, and of course a handful of text’s. I called Kevin’s number from my work and still no answer. I thought to myself, since I couldn’t get ahold of him, I was just going to drive over to his store. I wanted to make sure today wasn’t one of Kevin’s off days so I did a search for his operating hours because I’m old and easily forget those sorts of details. One of the first items to pop up was Kevin’s obituary and I’m just stunned. So, for the family, please know that Kevin was the greatest of guys and he really cared about people. The only thing I can think of now is that God needed a true expert and the best of guys to open a coin shop in Heaven. Kevin will be missed by an extremely large group of people including me. I’ll certainly miss going to see Kevin so we could talk about coins and so many other topic. Please except my greatest sympathy’s for your loss.

  8. Kevin was a great person. We fought countless battles over the last couple of years and he saved my life more than once. I thought of him more as a brother than a friend, and I’m going to miss him a lot. To his family, you have my sincerest condolences. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. I have no doubt that he is in a better place though.

  9. Kevin was always so kind and helpful whenever I would come into his coin shop. He will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.
