Linda Nonte Bevan, 75, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on October 7, 2025. She was born on March 29, 1950, in Indianapolis, to the late Arthur and Mildred Nonte.

Family was the center of her life. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Steve Bevan; son, Seth (Sara) Thomas; and grandson, Noah Thomas. She also leaves behind her siblings, Ted (Brenda) Nonte, MaryEllen Linne, Steve (Dianne) Nonte, and Patty (Rick) Smith, her sister-in-law, Jettie Nonte, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Nonte.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM at O’Riley-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. John Catholic Church, 126 West Georgia Street, Indianapolis, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.

Linda will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved caring for her family, giving to others, and lived with enduring faith in God.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

  1. Linda was as beautiful inside as out. Our friendship began when our sons met and became besties. Your kindness, gentleness, love for Steve and Seth will be how I remember. Prayers and hugs to them and all who loved you.
