Ruth — Mom and I are so sorry to hear about Lucy’s passing. I have many fond memories of visiting the house on Southern when we were in high school and later visiting with her at the Hermitage. She’d always tell me stories about my Uncle Morrie and I remember we couldn’t spend much time hanging out in the kitchen–LOL–Lucy ran a tight ship! God Bless Lucy and we hope your family find comfort in the memories of time spent with “Big Lu.”
So sorry to hear this, Lucy and her family lived across the street from our family on Southern Ave, best neighbors. Thoughts and prayers to Lucy’s family.

Ruth, so very sorry to learn of your mom’s passing. I have just fond memories of our visits to your house through the years. So good to visit and rekindle memories especially when Francis worked at Western Electric. Both your mom and dad were are large part for Francis turning into the man he had become. He always said he would never have finished college if it wasn’t for your dad. He loved your parents! My thoughts and prayers are with you especially at this time. ❤️ Love you. Carole and family.
On behalf of our mom, Pauline, my sisters, Marie and Paula, we want to offer our condolences on the death of your mom. Your mom and our mom were grade school classmates from Little Flower Grade School and reconnected when they resided at St. Paul’s Hermitage, (now, Endive). Our moms were table mates for meals and your mom was a great friend and support to our mom. Please know of our prayers and condolences. Your mom was great lady. Thank you for sharing her with our mom in their later years.
God bless,
Pauline, Fr. Paul, Marie and Paula Shikany
