Marion R. Duvall

Marion R. Duvall, 83, passed away November 18, 2021. He was born November 27, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Robert and Helen (Hunton) Duvall. Marion proudly served his country in U.S. Marine Corps. Marion worked for Reilly Tar and Chemical Corp. for over 35 years and in his spare time enjoyed fishing and golfing. He was also the past president of American Legion post #355 in Indianapolis.
Surviving are his children, Gary Duvall ( Lisa), Robert Duvall( Lorraine), Ronald Duvall, and Karen Duvall; Grandchildren, Mathew, Alicia, Katie, Heather, Morgan, Grant and Evan; 8 great-grandchildren; Brother, Richard Duvall, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Geraldine (Bishop) Duvall and Brother, Paul Duvall.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 11-2pm at O’Riley Funeral Home 6107 S. East St. Indianapolis, Indiana 46227, with funeral services at 2pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. I will most definitely miss the stubborness in which Marion was more than willing to give to the girls at work, all I would have to do was walk in the room and say,”Pop’s” and he would generously use his favorite word and get up and do what was asked of him to do. I will miss Marion (Pop’s) very much he stole my heart from the first day I met him. I love you Pop’s. Anita Kirschbaum
Marion was just a wonderful man. I will miss his laugh.
I have shredded my tears of not having my best male friend for over 20 years around. But my heart is whole knowing your in such a better place. I will always miss you, but will see you again someday! Love you
