Sharon Marie Griner

Sharon Marie Griner, 64 of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday June 29, 2022, at her home. Sharon was born on March 11, 1958, in Indianapolis to Virgil Lewis and Theresa Rose Stevenson Burdine.

Sharon worked at the Indianapolis International Airport in customer service. Sharon enjoyed music of all kinds, cooking and baking and spending time at the ocean.

She is survived by her children Renee, Damon and Airica, sisters Tina Burdine, Dena Stropes, Cindy Virden, Susan Strahle Thomas, Laura Williamson, brothers Donnie Burdine, Will Buridne, grandchildren Jaxon and Lilliona, boyfriend Bob Kuntz. She is proceeded in death by her parents, sisters Anita Jo Cline and Nancy Remmel.

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at a later date.

  5. Back in April whenever I would walk pass Ms.Sharon’s store FAO she would make it a mission to have a conversation with me just to brighten up my day and for that I will always cherish her.

  7. Sharon was a real sweetheart!! She always made it a point to stop and talk if I passed buy her store at the airport. We would laugh and just enjoy those conversations. My condolences go out to her family.

  8. Such a sweet lady, I would always love seeing her at the candy shop when I worked at the airport! She moved to another shop on the B concourse and was always saying hello and smiling ! RIP sweet lady!
