Susan Kay ”Sue” Stewart
75, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 5, 2024 at Bethany Village. Sue was born on February 19, 1949 in Lebanon, Indiana to the late William Stewart and Ruth (Wilhoite) Stewart.
A devout Catholic, Sue was a woman of faith. She was active in bible study groups and singles groups at her home parish, St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Susan worked in retail for Ayr-Way and later Target, where she retired. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing solitaire, euchre and Scrabble.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Garry Stewart and brother-in-law, Perry Willis.
She is survived by her brothers John Stewart (Tammy), Rod Stewart (Ed Alsip), Randy Stewart, along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, who will all miss her dearly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 10th at 10am at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5353 McFarland Rd. Indianapolis, with visitation one hour prior to the services. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 10th at 2:00pm in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Lizton.
