Thomas "Mickey" Michael Speth

 

Thomas “Mickey” Michael Speth, 84 of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 13, 2023.  He was born on November 1, 1938, in Beech Grove, Indiana. 

Mickey wore many hats in life. He was the owner of Speth Bakery, he was a school bus driver and sold insurance for K of C Insurance.

Mickey was a member of St Jude Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Mickey enjoyed riding horses, boating, cooking, and cheering on Notre Dame Football and the Indianapolis Colts.

Mickey is survived by his wife Edith Speth, Children Theresa (Mark) Smith, Michelle (Bill) Strack, Darleen (Steve) Kahl, Kevin (Susan) Cauble, Tom (Cindy) Speth, Ginger (Brett) Macy, Lisa (Michael) Delaney, siblings Dave Speth, Angie Egan, 24 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.

Mickey is preceded in death by his parents George and Rosemary Speth, siblings George Speth, Therese Cain, Kate Lamping.

Visitation for Mickey will be Wednesday, October 18 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Mark Catholic Church, 535 Edgewood Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM at the church.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
