Born on September 22, 1937, in Kankakee, Illinois, to Henry and Doris Conn.   Bill spent his formative years in the heartland, where he cultivated a strong sense of community and family values.

  1. I have so many memories of my grandpa. From church and Ponderosa on Sunday; to his luck with raffles (that he’s passed down!); to his love for jokes and especially the babies. He and grandma did an amazing job raising their family and instilling such goodness in each of us. He will always be the strongest man I’ve ever known. We love you!!

  2. Oh Marlene, thinking of you and remembering Bill. He had such a dry sense of humor! My thoughts and prayers to you and the family.

  3. Prayers for you all as you miss your dad/granddad.🙏He ran the good race & has now received the victor’s crown.
