Antonia Deogracias Viduya

Antonia Deogracias Viduya, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 7, 2024. Antonia was born to the late Jose & Emilia Deogracias on June 13, 1941, in Binmaley, Philippines. Antonia married the love of her life, Andre Viduya on June 17, 1959. She was fiercely loyal to her family and was very strong in her faith. She took pride in making sure her family was taken care of by frequently providing delicious meals, hosting parties, and celebrating her family’s successes. A fervent Catholic, Antonia played a pivotal role in imparting her faith to her children and grandchildren. She was a long-standing member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Indianapolis and actively participated in a local Filipino rosary group, embodying her commitment to both her spiritual and cultural communities. Her departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by the numerous friends and family who were touched by her warmth, generosity, and love.

Antonia is survived by her beloved husband, of 64 years, Andre Viduya and her loving sister, Dr. Monica Deogracias. Her legacy lives on through her devoted children; Raymond (Eva) Viduya, Jesus (Mecidita) Viduya, Andres (Lisa) Viduya, Tony (Jennie) Viduya, Richard (Angie) Viduya, and Nanette (Shawn) Matney, her adoring grandchildren; Genevieve & Patrick Viduya, Monette (Jeremy) Wagner, Jessica Viduya, Dominic (Nicolette), Zachary & Nicholas Viduya, Andrea Viduya, Gabrielle & Alec Viduya, and Marisa & Sam Matney, along with great-grandchildren; Vivienne, Evalynn, & Xavier Wagner, and Teagan Viduya.

Antonia is preceded in death by her siblings; Francisco Deogracias, Delfin Deogracias, Adelaide Bautista, and Marcelina Arimado.

Antonia’s Life Celebration® Visitation will be held at O’Riley Branson Funeral Service and Crematory at 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Jude Catholic Church in Indianapolis on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 10:00am. Entombment will be immediately following at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.
