Bonnie Helen Crook

Bonnie Helen Crook, 83 of Indianapolis died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 27, 2022. She was born in Lafayette, Tennessee on May 25, 1939, to Harold B. and Lola Estelle Green.

Bonnie worked at Western Electric and was a member of Happy Hollow Missionary Baptist Church. Bonnie was devoted to her church and family. She enjoyed cooking, family reunions in Tennessee, but her greatest joy was spending time with her loving husband, children and all her grandchildren.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Debbie Neely, sisters Shirley Ethridge, Carolyn Sadler, brothers Donald, Damon and Earl Green, grandchildren Eric Crook, Michael Morgan, Melissa Morgan.

Bonnie is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 69 year, Wilson Crook, children Pamela Morgan, Steven (Melodie) Crook, Kimberly Sauer (Bobby Smith), Lisa (Ralph) Zahm, sisters Georgia Green, Wanda Ault, JoAnn Long, brother Roger Green. 21 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

Family and friends will celebrate Bonnie’s life with visitation on Friday, September 2, 2022, from 2 – 6 pm at O’Riley Branson Funeral Service and Crematory, 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral Service by Elder Jimmy Thompson will follow at 6 pm. Additional services will be at Alexander Funeral Home in Lafayette, Tennessee. Burial will be in Haysville Cemetery in Lafayette, Tennessee.
