Harry “Bud” Wade, 76, of Beech Grove, passed away May 22, 2021. He was born in Beech Grove, on March 21, 1945, to the late Harry and Lucille Wade. He was a graduate of Ben Davis High School, class of 1963.
He was a member of Salk Park Boys Club on the Southwest side of Indianapolis since 1957. Harry served his country as an Army Veteran during the Vietnam War and was a member of American Legion Post # 64. He retired after 41 years from Kroger, where he was department manager for various locations in Central Indiana, lastly being at the Kroger at County Line and Emerson. An avid golfer and sports enthusiast, his favorite team was the New York Yankees.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Antionette Wade; children, Dennis Jay (Jen) Wade, Daniel Alan (Christine) Wade, Natalie (Christopher) Gordon; grandchildren, Jonathon (Sarah) Wade, Joseph (Monica) Wade, Emily (Andrew) Kennedy, Benjamin Wade, Victoria Hribernik, Abigail (Austin) Daugherty; great grandchildren, Rowan, Oakley, Moyer, Vallie, Remmington, and Ripken; and sisters Sandra (Jack) Bantley, Dee (Mike) Vidrich, and Nancy (George) Latimore.
Visitation will be Wednesday May 26, 2021, 4 to 8 p.m. at O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 South East St. Indianapolis, IN 46227. Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 27, 2021 at 11 AM with Sister Mary Alacoque officiating at O’Riley Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boy's & Girl's Club Legore Unit, 5228 W. Minnesota Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46241.
