Jeffrey L. Wallace, Jr.

Jeffrey L. Wallace, Jr. 45, Greenwood, passed away in his sleep September 27, 2019. Jeff was born July 4, 1974, in Indianapolis, to Jeffrey, Sr. and Trudy (Ragan) Wallace who survive. He married Marcie (Holmes) in 2000, who also survives.

Jeff graduated from Center Grove High School and furthered his education at IUPUI and at Medtech College. He worked at Navistar for 15 years and for the past six years at FedEx Freight. Jeff enjoyed golfing and playing tennis, but his favorite pastime was being a husband and dad. Jeff always put the needs of his family first. He loved sports, especially the Colts, Michigan football, and IU basketball. He loved his dogs – his beagle Sammy and his golden retriever Rocky. Jeff’s memory will be cherished by his loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his wife of nineteen years, Marcie; daughter, Amanda; parents, Jeff and Trudy; sister, Tammy Findley; parents-in-law, Mary and Richard Holmes; sister-in-law, Tara Holmes; niece, Amelia; special aunt and uncle, Kathy and Mike Marine; cousins, Andy, Greg, and Tracy.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate the life of Jeff Wallace on Monday, September 30, 2019, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
