Judith Ann Morrison

Judith Ann (Beyer) Morrison, 86, Greenwood, longtime Indianapolis resident, passed away on February 8, 2025. Mrs. Morrison was born January 8, 1939, in Indianapolis, to the late Carl and Emma (Blosser) Beyer. She was married to the late Bernard G. Morrison. 

Mrs. Morrison graduated from Southport High School. She was a capable and devoted homemaker, in addition to helping Bernie in his business, Southport Plumbing & Heating. Many wonderful memories were created at the family lake house on Lake Lemon. She loved to play euchre, boat, sew, and enjoyed flowers. Mrs. Morrison was an animal lover and always enjoyed the companionship of her English Setters. Above all, Judy was strongly devoted to her family and never missed an opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren. She was a charter member of St. Jude Catholic Church and more recently was a parishioner at Saints Francis & Clare Catholic Church. 

Survivors include her daughters, Kathy (Robert) Johnson, Laurie (Joe) Clarke, and Jennifer Allen; sister, Sandra (Bob) Moats; granddaughters, Sara Holzer, Emily Vanus, Lyndsey Johnson, Morgan (Rece) Williamson, Makenna Clarke, Brooke Allen, and Olivia Allen; great-grandchildren, Benton, Briella, and Addison. 

A private family viewing will take place at the O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. 

Instead of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Johnson County (3827 Graham Road, Franklin, IN 46131).

  1. What a very special lady. I’m so glad I was able to share some Florida good times with her. An infectious smile, a gentle soul, such a family centric lady. I hope your spirit will always surround your loving family as bd they feel your love. Prayers to the family she has left behind.

  3. Judy was my mother’s first friend she met when we moved to Indiana some 57 years ago. I loved her stories, her voice and laugh. A true loss.

  5. A beautiful sister-in-law and wonderful person. Many special memories I have of Judy and the good times we had when we were able to visit. She made everyone feel special. She loved babies, and I remember how she would hold them as much as she could. Judy will be missed by so many. Our sympathy to her family.

  6. Judy never met a stranger. She brought love and laughter to every occasion whether a family occasion or just meeting someone for the first time. She was a woman we are all grateful to have known her.
