Marcia J. (Jahnke) Page, 90, of Greenwood, passed away in the early morning hours of October 10, 2022. Marcia was born on September 12, 1932, in Indianapolis to the late Harold and Esther (Roell) Jahnke. Marcia grew up in Fountain Square, belonging to St. Patrick Catholic Church and graduating from St. Agnes Academy. On April 19, 1952, in Holy Name Catholic Church Marcia wed Robert Ellis Page. The pair enjoyed 64 years of marriage until Robert passed away on December 7, 2016.

A devoted wife and loving mother, Marcia proudly raised her five children. She was an immaculate housekeeper who took pride in her home. As her children went on to adulthood, Marcia began working as a receptionist at St. Francis Hospital. Marcia and Robert were active members of Holy Name Catholic Church and most recently, Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church.

Reading, spending time with her children and grandchildren, shopping, wintering in Florida, and cooking dinner for friends were the many things you could find Marcia doing if she was not working or at church. She will be remembered as a beautiful woman with an unmatched love for her family.

Along with her parents and husband, Marcia was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Jahnke, and a grandson, Jonathan Page.

Survivors include her children, Deborah (Larry) Rademacher, Jeffrey (Beth) Page, Brian (Becki) Page, Scott (Holly) Page, and Michael (Julie) Page; sister-in-law, Carol Jahnke; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members and friends.

Marcia’s Life Celebration® visitation will be Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the chapel of O’Riley – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 14, 2022, in Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Jonathon Page Memorial Scholarship for students at Roncalli High School; envelopes will be provided for both organizations at the funeral home. Prior to the celebration of Mass, morning prayers will begin at 9:30 AM on Friday in the funeral home.   1. Marcia was a beautiful and sweet person. Always enjoyed seeing them in our office and Bob . Marcia always looked beautiful with a smile on her face. RIH Marcia.

  2. I enjoyed working with Marcia at St Francis Hospital. Really enjoyed Marcia and Bob working at Whiteland Orchard with us. Grading apples, caramel apples and we all enjoyed drinking Glenn’s cider. We have great memories with both of them.

  5. Our thoughts and prayers go out to our best friends Larry, Debbie and family. Marcia was like a mom to me. She was a beautiful person inside and out. We have missed the basketball games, card and game night (especially dominoes), shopping and all of the long-winded phone calls we had. I will miss all of the cards she would send with an owl on it too. She loved her owls! She will be missed. We love you all. May she Rest In Peace with the love of her life.
