Matthew Paul Krenzke

Matthew Paul Krenzke, 41, Carmel, passed away suddenly September 9, 2022, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Matt was born March 24, 1981, in Indianapolis, to the late Brian Jon Krenzke and Marilyn (Anderson) Krenzke, who survives.

Matt graduated from Carmel High School in 1999, Indiana University, and most recently earned an MBA degree from Anderson University. He worked in the insurance industry as an adjuster for several years. Matt was also the owner of Carefree Lawn & Pool, where he assisted many of his loyal customers through the years. Matt was extremely talented with his many landscaping projects, and he took great pride in his work. His attention to detail was second to none. Matt was an avid golfer, enjoyed good food, and was quite a history buff. A great conversationalist, Matt will be forever remembered by his loving family and many friends. Above all, he was a proud and devoted uncle to his beloved nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his loving mother, Marilyn Krenzke of Carmel; brother, Paul (Kady) Krenzke of Carmel; sister, Andi (Jeff) Wiklund of Downers Grove, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Mason, Sophie, Lila, Kai, and Emily; and extended family including aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A gathering of family and friends will take place Saturday, September 17, 2022, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m., at the Woodlands Clubhouse, 10700 Lakeshore Drive East, Carmel, 46033.
