Amanda Jo Steagall

Amanda Jo Steagall, 29, of Indianapolis passed away on December 4, 2019. Amanda was born on March 17, 1990 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Rick Steagall and Kim (Crandell) Vinson.

Amanda graduated from Franklin Central High School in 2009. Amanda loved roller skating and dancing. Helping anyone she could, Amanda had a huge heart. With her mother hen mentality, she loved little kids and caring for her nieces and nephews who loved calling her aunt AJ. You never had to question where you stood with Amanda as she was very blunt, spunky and outgoing.

Amanda is preceded in death by her father, Rick Steagall; her paternal grandmother, Sandra Pettaway; and her great grandmother, Gloria Pugh.

Survivors include her mother, Kim (Gary) Vinson; maternal grandparents, Linda and Ed Campbell, harold and Elaine Crandell, and Bruce Osborn; siblings, Andrew M. (Shannon) Steagall, Christopher (Megan) Hawn, Ashley Stegall, Sasha Tuason; nieces and nephews, Mason, Parker, Brayden, Carson, Hudson, Haiden, Kaylin, Levi, Raegan, Avelina, and Bennett, Jr; and many uncles, aunts, and numerous cousins.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis. The funeral service will begin at 7:00 P.M. on Friday in the funeral home. Final care and arrangements are entrusted to the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, Indianapolis. Ed and I met the Steagall family at Garfield LL they were a united front all of our kids were so young they all worked the concession stand and ran the ball park those were such good times Amanda had so much life to live as many families are facing these horrible tragedies we pray for change so her passing is not in vein. We pray for her family may God be with them as they face so many hard days ahead. RIP Amanda you will be missed.
