Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I am so sorry to hear about you Mom. I have lots of memories of her and growing up living next door to her was a joy. I hope each of you find peace. Thinking of you.

  2. I am sorry for your precious loss. Please take comfort in the words found at Acts 24:15 which say, “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” You are in our thoughts and prayers.

  3. We lived next door to the Prout family most of my life. We had the greatest neighborhood ever. You were never bored. It was a community family and Margie was the center of it. The patience this woman had when I think back to all of the stuff we all did as kids was amazing. Her energy was never ending. That infectious laugh. The summer trips to the Riveria club as guests of the Prouts!. The summer boys line up for the head shaving ritual and the girls all got olive in our hair. I remember when they blacktopped the backyard. We had badminton, volleyball, and in winter an amazing ice skating rink. The kids had access to all of this by day, the adults at night. The annual shaking of the apple tree and gathering of apples. Margie trying so hard to have flowers in the front and side yard that didn’t get trampled by us kids. Just thousands of memories I will always hold dear to my heart. To this day I can still recite all of the Prout kids names: Dorothy, John, Joe, Sue ,Don, Steve, Jean, Nancy and Kathleen! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families at this time. Sincerely, Debbie (Horn) Brown.

  4. Thank you for the video! It was amazing. Tears and smiles for all of you. Thanks for sharing your family with me! Love you, Peggy Fitzgerald Walko

  5. Dorothy and family,

Gloria and I send our thoughts and prayers up to you. We remember your mother and father fondly. Remember going down to their lake house (at least I think it was theirs) and having a great time.
    God Bless all!

    Bob and Gloria Foley
