Anthony J. “Tony” Marine, 54, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. Born August 6, 1964 Tony was the son of the late Bernard J. Marine and Betty Sue (Jones) Ogle; his mother survives and resides in Greenwood.
Tony worked as a lot manager at Ray Skillman for over 15 years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and playing the guitar. A loving son, brother, uncle and friend, Tony’s memory will be cherished by his loving family and a host of friends.
Other survivors include his two brothers, Mark O. Marine and Michael C. Skill both of Greenwood; three sisters, Tammy A. (Lloyd, Jr.) Snapp of Indianapolis, Julie L. Johnson of Beech Grove, and Michele M. Skill of Greenwood; 5 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Tony’s life from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018 in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. The funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. There is no greater loss than losing a loved one in death. My heart goes out to your family at such a difficult time. What comfort the scripture in Revelation 21:4 gives us when we experience such an emotional time. It’s a promise that takes on such a personal meaning. God promises to wipe out every tear from our and death will be no more! We can share this promise with our loved ones in the near future because John 5:28,29 also promises a resurrection of all those in the memorial tombs. How that touches our hearts.
