Anthony (Tony) Joseph Overley, 33, passed away in his sleep on July 2, 2016 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis. He loved his children, playing his guitar and singing, and spending time with his family and friends.He is survived by his son, Anthony Joseph Jr (AJ); daughter, Dani Layne; wife, Amber (Pangburn); parents, Chris (Huffer) and Danny Overley; sister, Andrea Overley-Thompson (Carl); nephews, Bradley, Charles, and John; grandmother, Charlotte Huffer; and godfather, Joseph Pinnick. He is preceded in death by grandfathers, Warren Overley, John Huffer, and Carl Flowers; grandmother, Dorothy (Overley) Flowers; and godmother, Sherri (Overley) Maxfield. Visitation will be on Thursday July 7, 2016 from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St. (US Hwy 31 South), Indianapolis, IN 46227 where prayers will be said on Friday at 10:30 a.m. prior to Mass. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Roch Catholic Church, 3600 S. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis, IN 46227. Contributions can be made to the Anthony Joseph Overley Children’s Fund, c/o Professional Police Officers Credit Union, 1502 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46201.
