Ardella Gail Owens

Ardella Gail (Leinbach) Owens, 65 of Indianapolis, passed away at IU Methodist on January 3, 2022. She was born on January 8, 1956 in Indianapolis to the late Clarence “Bob” Robert and Mary Christine (Agan) Leinbach.

Gail attended Manual High School and graduated from Ivy Tech Community College. She was a case manager at Heritage Place in Indianapolis for multiple years. She had a great love for music especially Fleetwood Mac and Linkin Park. Gail was a huge Betty Boop fan. She enjoyed talking with her many friends across the world on the internet. Gail was always an encouragement to others and spread her mantra “Believe”.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Rose Anne Davidson, and beloved cousin, Angie Cecil.

Gail is survived by her beloved daughters, Michelle (John) Pedraza, Rebecca Owens, bonus daughters, Sierra Morrow, and Miranda Owens; sister, Lisa (Myron) Wampler, brother Robert “Rusty” (April) Leinbach; cherished grandchildren, James (DJ), Noah, Brianna, Hannah, Logan, Gabriella, Adrianna; great granddaughter, Jaelynn; a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends around the world.

To honor Gail’s wishes, there will be a private family gathering held followed by cremation. In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Gail’s name to your favorite charity.
