Caryn M. Keisker

November 1, 1985 ~ August 16, 2023
Caryn Michelle (Armbruster) Keisker, 37, was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She passed away on August 16, 2023, at age 37. She was surrounded by her loved ones who will cherish her memory for the rest of their days.
Caryn was born on November 1, 1985, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Phil and Debbie Armbruster. She grew up in a home full of love and laughter, constantly surrounded by her 4 siblings – Courtnie Leeper, Alex (Amanda) Armbruster, Allyson (Ryan) Dotson and Caitlyn (Jonny) Valdez – and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She graduated from Avon High School and pursued a career in the healthcare field. On July 7, 2007, she married the love of her life, Dustin Keisker. When they welcomed Logan, 15, and Haylie, 12, their hearts and family were complete. She is survived by her family, including 2 nieces and 4 nephews, father & mother-in-law, Steve and Shelley Keisker and brother-in-law, Brandon Keisker.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Uncle Doug, her brother, Adam and her nephew, Jameson.
Caryn’s warmth and light filled every room she entered. She had the unique ability to see the best in people and knew just how to put people at ease. She loved cooking for her family, big holiday get-togethers, concerts and a long list of pop culture favorites. Caryn was an active parishioner at St. Susanna Catholic Church and enjoyed teaching religious education to 2nd graders. She was an integral Scoutmaster of Troop 394 with Dustin. Logan, who is a Life Scout, and Haylie, a first-class scout, loved having both parents involved in their scout troop. The love Caryn had for her family was felt by everyone who knew her. Nothing gave Caryn more joy than giving selflessly to those she loved most in the world.
Visitation will be held at St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 12:00pm-2:00pm followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Caryn’s honor to: Scout Troop 394 & 3940, C/O St. Susanna Catholic Church, 1210 E. Main St., Plainfield, Indiana, 46168.

CARYN HAD A BIG HEART AND A BEAUTIFUL SMILE SHE WAS ALWAYS WAS WILLING TO HELP SOMEONE INNEED SHE WILL BE VERY MISS
Caryn loved my kids like they were her own. She watched my oldest 2 kids while I went to grad school. She’s a huge part of the reason I was even able to graduate. When my daughter was diagnosed with cancer, Caryn didn’t even wait to be asked. She stepped right in and helped take care of my 2 older kids and made sure my oldest made it to school, so I could focus on my youngest and her cancer treatment. I owe so many things to Caryn. I’ve seen so many people talk about how selfless and giving she was and that’s absolutely true. She was one of the most giving, kind, and loving people I’ve ever known. We are going to miss her more than I think we even realize right now. There are so many memories I have that include her. I’m so heartbroken that she is gone, but so glad that she was such an important part of my village while she was here. My life would have been so different without her.
So sorry for your families loss. Continued prayers and hugs. Jeanie Wood

May you find comfort in the beautiful memories you shared. May she forever be in your hearts until you see her again.
Caryn was a dearly loved and highly respected member of our work family at CSpring/OptumRX for over three years. Working in separate locations made getting together so much more precious… like this fun and wonderful memory from Connor Prairie last year. Our whole team is deeply saddened by Caryn’s passing. Our hearts, thoughts, sympathies, and prayers are with Dustin and all of Caryn’s family and friends.
Sending love and peace. Phil and Debbie you raised a wonderful daughter, who obviously grew into a beautiful wife and mother. Our hearts go out to the entire family.
Phil-
I am so sorry for your loss. As you know my wife died July 25th. Losing a daughter, who sounded like a very nice young woman, is very difficult. You are in my prayers and if there is anything I can do let me know.
