My heart is broken for you all. You are in my prayers
Thinking of you Kim, and all of your family during this time. Know that you are loved and in my prayers.
Christina was fearless. Traveling together to Australia and New Zealand there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t try. Though only 15 years old — it was her idea to take a hot air balloon at the Great Barrier Reef at sunrise on New Year’s Day. Her enthusiasm left me little choice. Despite my fears, we took off and soared. It was thrilling and even the landing in a field of cow manure didn’t dampen the experience. Christina was always a leader — always. When she and her cousin, Jenny, and I traveled to Europe, it was Christina who nudged Jenny and I out of our comfort zones. We took turns picking activities. (Although we all enjoyed the European shopping experience immensely, we did find time for other pursuits.) For her part, Christina wanted to take an all-day excursion from Salzburg, Austria to Dachau, Germany, where we came face-to-face with world history. The infamous death camp was all the more oppressive with summer temperatures approaching 100 degrees. The tour was a haunting experience that none of us could soon forget. Taking my nieces, both goddaughters, to some of Europe’s most exciting cities — Rome, Florence, Venice, Vienna, Salzburg, Lucerne and Zurich — was certainly one of the highlights of my life. But nothing compares to the highlight of these two heavenly creatures coming into my life. They were soon followed by more siblings and cousins — one more lovable than the next. Teachers one and all — Robert, Christopher, Kimberly, Matthew and Michael. They can all light up a room with their smiles and warm your heart with a wet butz or hug. But the Koteff’s next generation all began with Christina — and she will forever be a huge part of our circle of love, and laughter. Thank you dear, sweet, brilliant and witty girl for teaching us more than you will ever know — both in life and beyond.
So beautifully said Ellen. My heart goes out to each of you during this time of loss. Our prayers will be for Gods comfort and peace through family, friends, and wonderful memories. Deepest sympathies – Jessie & Mark O’Brien

Christina was a beautiful girl inside and out. That’s obvious looking at her beautiful face but you can also see her inner beauty shine through that sweet smile and pretty eyes. She was a joy to all who knew her. Whenever I had the good fortune to spend time with her it was a very enjoyable and easy visit. She was quick to laugh. She had a beautiful hearty laugh that comes from the inner confidence instilled in her by her loving parents, Walt and Darby, and her equally beautiful siblings Kim and Robbie. Rest in Peace Christina.
Walter, Darby & Famiky,
Our Hearts are filled with much sadness as you go through this very difficult time. Know that you will be in our thoughts & prayers!
