Daniel R. “Danny” Johnson, 86, lifelong resident of Indianapolis, passed away at St. Francis Hospital on October 10, 2020. Danny was born on June 29, 1934 to the late Walter and Helen (McAlister) Johnson.
Danny was last employed by Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood as a groundskeeper. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Danny will be remembered as a man with a great sense of humor and an all-around great personality. He will be missed.
An excellent father to his children, Gale (Yvonne) Johnson, Warren (Stephanie) Wills, Gerald (Tammy) Wills, Diane (Buddy) Clark, and Margaret (Carlos) Garcia. Danny was the beloved brother of Sandy and Kathy. He has 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
