David J. Miller

David J. Miller, 68, of Beech Grove, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Franciscan Health, Indianapolis. Dave was born March 14, 1950 in Beech Grove to the late Emmet and Audrey (Gutsch) Miller. On January 10, 1975 he was united in marriage to Gloria J. (Smith) Miller and she survives.
Dave was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Indianapolis and worked as a surveyor for Indianapolis Power & Light Company for 33 years; he retired in 2001.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Gloria; his children, Scott A. Gibson of Indianapolis, William B. (Melody) Gibson of Naples, Florida, and Jessica L. Miller of Beech Grove; his sister, Marilyn J. Schrage of Greenwood; five grandchildren, Josh Montgomery, Bradon, Zachary, Jacob, and Noah Gibson; and seven great grandchildren, Landen, Cameron, Brandon, Jr., Emilia, Kylie, Mia and Jackson.
There will be no services for David at this time. Final care and cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis.
