Dolores Paxton

Dolores Paxton, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018. Dolores was born in Indianapolis on April 8, 1936 to the late Thomas and Sadie Heider. On March 6, 1959 she was united in marriage to James M. Paxton, Sr. and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2000.

Dolores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker for most of her life.

Along with her husband, she also preceded in death by her son, Thomas J. Paxton; her brother, Charles Heider; and her sister, Mary Jo Phillips.

Survivors include her son, James M. (Sandy) Paxton, Jr.; two sisters, Donna Vandeveer of North Carolina and Marlene Jones of Washington; and two grandchildren, Anthony and Shelly Paxton.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Sutherland Park Cemetery, 4201 Millersville Road, Indianapolis.
