Donald Edward Lee

Donald Edward Lee, age 62, loving husband, proud father of four children and 14 grandchildren, of Indianapolis, Indiana, died peacefully at home with his wife by his side on September 20, 2026.

Don was born in Evansville, Indiana in 1964; his parents; David and Docia Lee. Don was an IU graduate where he loved shooting on the school’s Trap and Skeet team and went onto National’s with them. Don retired being the Operation’s Manager at SHO-PRO of Indiana in 2017.

Don was a devoted and loving father to Tony Collins, Haley Lee, Kasi (Christopher) Blackford, and Zachary (Silver) Lee, who will dearly miss him and the life lessons he imparted to them.

Don took great pride in being a grandparent to Dustin, Eli, Sydney, Emery, Rachel, Olivia, Killian, Xander, Stella, Beau, Misha, Cecily, Ivy, and Mallory.

Special people that held a spot in his heart; Kyle and Hannah Arterburn along with their daughters; Elouise and Kendall and special friend Chelsea Johnson.

Don was preceded in death by his parents David and Docia, his brother Daniel, and is survived by his wife of 30 years Carolyn, children Tony, Haley, Kasi and Zachary and 14 grandchildren, along with his sister Diane Nunez.

Don enjoyed fishing, boating, IU Football and the Colts. He loved spending summers at Kentucky Lake and the fall at Ocean Isle, NC.

Per Don’s wishes no funeral will be held. Arrangements for a family gathering will be announced at a later date.  In memory of Don watch an IU football or Indianapolis Colts game and cheer them on.
