Rita and Charlie took me along with them to Colorado one year. We went skiing and after a little while on the bunny hill, Eddie took me up.
Man, it was rough and I ended up on my face in deep snow on the sides several times. It opened up and declined steeply. I am barreling down. Skis in full plow formation in a futile attempt to slow. Ski instructors are yelling at me to slow down. The lodge is approaching and there are people everywhere. Just as I am greeting ready to slam into the crowd, Eddie appears out of nowhere and clothes lines me to the ground. Im gonna miss you cousin.
To the family and friends,
I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one.
When Jesus was on earth, he brought his friend Lazarus back to life, who was dead for four days! Before Jesus resurrected Lazarus he spoke to Martha, Lazarus’ sister as recorded at John 11:21-27 :
' Martha then said to Jesus: ‘Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. Yet even now I know that whatever you ask God for, God will give you.’ Jesus said to her: ‘Your brother will rise.’ Martha said to him: ‘I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.’ Jesus said to her: ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life; and everyone who is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all. Do you believe this?’ She said to him: ‘Yes, Lord, I have believed that you are the Christ, the Son of God, the one coming into the world.’ '
Jesus has the power from God to bring our loved ones back to life!
In the mean time we need comfort from God as it says in 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. If you would like free Bible studies to bring you comfort you can ask any one of Jehovah’s Witnesses to make arrangements.
Loved this kid, like one of our own. He was part of the family (daily) from early teens to mid-20’s. He was always crossing our paths, through the years. Always the same…he used to call me on my birthday, for years….Jim and I had him help building our ‘cabin’ in Brown County…oh such a dare-devil on scaffolding! haha…He was fearless! Riding a for-runner down a steep hill….and running into a tree in slow-motion….(brakes wouldn’t hold, due to the steepness of the hill, and he wouldn’t let go)….I used to tell him, his mama & papa gave him is name because “2 Eds are Better than 1”. (EDdie EDmonds)…he would grin and laugh…that wonderful smile that would make his eyes disappear into little slits…Rest in peace dear boy, hope you knew how much you were loved! He was a pretty good guy. He was helpful to everyone and a good friend. You will be missed. Prayers for the family.
