Eileen Shoemaker

Eileen (Drew) Shoemaker, 93, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away October 5, 2018. She was born on September 22, 1925 to the late Helen and Louis Drew. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bob in 2006 and a daughter, Diane Rowe in 2017.
Survivors include her daughter, Margaret (Jerry) Happ; sons, Robert (Deborah) Shoemaker and Donald (Barbara) Shoemaker; son-in-law, Jim Rowe; grandchildren, Marc (Brooke) Rowe, Mandy (Chris) Flury, Dawn (Jeff) Cope, Staci (Eric) Christensen, Julie (Doug) Burdine, Beth (John) Barrett, Clint (Maya) Shoemaker, Drew (Amber) Shoemaker, Kay (Aaron) Mendez, Jill Shoemaker and Shanon (Maggie) Hartill; great grandchildren, Ashely Hartill, Hayden & Colin Burdine, Taylor & Jake Barrett, Lucas, Vincent & Genevieve Mendez, Sam & Tom Shoemaker, Claire & Will Shoemaker, Kayleigh Cope, Callie, Madison, Luke & Kaitlyn Christensen, Samantha, Weston & Ruby Rowe, Andrew, Grace & Anna Flury.
Visitation will be from 9 – 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 12, 2018, in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home. Prayers will begin at 10:30, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., in St. Mark Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Beautiful woman who was a gift to her family, friends. and co-workers. We certainly enjoyed our years of working together for Dr. Logan. God is rewarding her with an eternity of being with Him in heaven, along with her beloved husband, Bob and loving daughter, Diane plus all of her family and friends who are enjoying their heavenly home.
