Emerito Franco 'Frank' Upano, Esq.

Mr. Emerito Franco “Frank” Upano, Esq., 76, Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016. He was born on September 22, 1940 in Tuguegarao, Cagayan, Philippines, to Ambrosio and Edilberta Upano. Frank was a graduate of the University of Manila and was a practicing attorney in the Philippines and Indiana. He was the dearly loved husband of Matilde (nee de los Santos); loving father of Jocelyn, Katherine, Edilberto, Emerito Jr., Maria Patricia, and Nicole; dear brother of Violeta (Nestor Reyes), Nunilon (Hermogenes Thomas), and Eleanor (Victor Isada); grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren; special uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and a loyal friend to many. Frank loved to sing, share good food and conversation in the company of his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will take place on Friday, December 2, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home. On Saturday, December 3, prayers will be said at 10:30 a.m. at Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home prior to Mass. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Roch Catholic Church. Immediately following mass, entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
