Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Ernie and I were best friends through Grade School at St Catherine, we graduated eight grade 1943. Haven’t saw each other much through the years. I know she was a great lady and will be missed.

  2. Lived across the street from them on Southern Avenue, I remember her out to her nieces Rose Marie and Antionette for them to come home. I also dated Tony a few times when we were in high school. Fun times in the neighborhood when we were very young. She was a beautiful lady.

  3. Sarah and I send with love and remembrance of the wonderful person Ernestina was for so many years. We mourn her loss but celebrate her gift to us.

  4. Ernie was the person who hired me at Indiana Bell in June 1966. She was my first supervisor in the “519” group for long distance tickets. Ernie was always ready to lend a guiding hand and words of encouragement or share in a joke. She was always impeccably dressed as an example for all of us…no jeans and tennis shoes back then. Through her I met Mary Rose, Ann Turner (another of my bosses), and Marie. She was a beautiful person and I will remember her with gratitude and love. Rest in peace, sweet lady.
