Gary E. McQuade, 69, Greenwood, passed away on March 15, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born December 8, 1946 to Elizabeth and Marion McQuade. He was a 1965 graduate of Scecina Memorial High School and served in the US Army in Frankfort, Germany during the Vietnam war. He married Theresa (Nolan) McQuade on July 31, 1971. Gary was employed by Detroit Diesel Allison in Security and retired from Delco Electronics in 1995 due to health problems. He coached baseball in Franklin Township Little League and enjoyed watching his children play sports. He enjoyed golfing in his retirement but most of all his grandchildren. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas McQuade; and his sister, Patricia Eisele. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; sons, Timothy and Matthew; daughter, Melissa (Nicholas) Kirk; grandchildren, Mikel, Brooklyn, Bailey and Nolan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church. Friends are invited to gather at the church to greet family members on Saturday prior to Mass beginning at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
