Gertrude H. Fox, 98, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016. She was born on February 24, 1918 to Anthony J. and Gertrude Hill Laker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Fox and her siblings, Delores, Everett, Arthur, Richard and Raymond. She is survived by her brother, Anthony Laker and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5353 McFarland Road, Indianapolis, IN 46227 immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be shared with the family at orileyfuneralhome.com

I am a Pastor who frequently visit the member of our church and often Gertrude wanted to be wheel into the dining room for the meal and brought a cup of hot tea to have with her meal and when she was done she would motion she wanted to go back to her room. I didn’t find out of her death until her roommate told me yesterday. Her and her roommmate were two of a kind and got along well. Her roommate was out with family when she passed away and she ask me to extend her deepest sympathy to any family members remaining. We all will miss her.
