Dear Bob, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Nano was a wonderful interesting woman that we had the great fortune of getting to know. Thank you for sharing her with us. Love Ron and Deb Williams
I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Lawrence was my 3rd grade teacher, and friend, I believe it was 1974-75. I have thought of her often over all these years; always wondering how to contact her and tell her how much she changed my life and helped me. Back then I was living in an abusive home and was being picked on in school; so I was being harrassed day and night. Mrs. Lawrence became my guardian angel for me that very day I entered the 3rd grade room. She hugged me, loved me, guided and protected me. Even during the summer, when school was out, I couldn’t believe my eyes when Mrs. Lawrence herself drove into our driveway one sunny day. She got out of the car with an arm load of big heavy books that she said were just for me. They not only were they actual sets of schoolbooks, but they were the teachers version of the schoolbooks, I was so excited I could hardly contain myself; she knew I wanted to become a teacher one day. I’m sorry I never got the chance to tell her thank you for all her love and care that was so strong I have carried it with me my entire life.
