Hting Nan Ah Htoi, Rosa Maru Nan Ja, 33, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 14, 2023. Nan Ah was born on October 12, 1989 in Myanmar, to Naw Lum Maru & Kareng Kaw Hpang. Nan Ah was a loving wife & mother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to sing and watch old movies. Most evenings she could be found reading a good book or cooking for her family. She has been a long-time member of St. Mark Catholic Church.
Nan Ah is survived by her loving husband; Naw Naw Marip, son; Zausengawng Marip, daughter; Jatsawmaung Marip and mother; Kareng Kaw Hpang.
Nan Ah is preceded in death by her father; Naw Lum Maru.
Hting’s Life Celebration® Visitation will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 10:00 am -12:00 pm., at St. Mark Catholic Church in Indianapolis. We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences on Nan Ah’s passing.
The Compassionate Friends is an international, non-denominational, grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.
We meet monthly on the first Wednesday at the New Hope Church, 5307 Fairview Rd, Greenwood, IN 46142 and on the third Tuesday at the Epworth United Methodist, 6450 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46220. Both meetings begin at 6:30pm.
