Looney Family:
Joe was a role model of a man, and the best neighbor anyone could ask for. He was so kind to Garrett and I over the years. Over 18 years, I am certain we must have struck a nerve at some point, running around the neighborhood the way we did, but Joe never showed it. I would come play on the basketball goal in front of your house almost every day, and Joe would almost always come talk to me for a few minutes. He never once was annoyed with the frequency that I would come down to your house. I’m so sorry about your loss, and my family and I are willing to help you guys anyway we can.
Undoubtedly this is a very difficult time for you and your family. I just wanted to share these brief words of encouragement. Revelation 21:4 says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” The Bible holds out a hope for the future of our loved ones. I hope this brings you a measure of comfort. -E.Sigmon. (a concerned neighbor)
